I lead cyber-physical systems research at SRI’s Computer Science Laboratory. My research background is in applied cryptography, statistics and signal processing. My current projects revolve around fundamental and applied problems in security and privacy and resilience of cyber-physical systems.
I earned a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Stanford University, California in 2007, a Masters in electrical engineering from The University of Minnesota, Minneapolis in 2001 and a Bachelors degree in instrumentation engineering from Pune University, India in 1999. I have previously worked at the National Center for Radio Astrophysics (Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Pune); Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL) in Cambridge, MA; and Xerox PARC in Palo Alto, CA.
