I conduct fundamental and applied research in cryptography, security, privacy, machine learning and AI.
I studied electrical engineering for my Ph.D. at Stanford University and my Masters degree at The University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
I have previously worked at the National Center for Radio Astrophysics (Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Pune); Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL) in Cambridge, MA; Xerox PARC in Palo Alto, CA; and SRI International in Menlo Park, CA. Most of my recent work was funded through grants from DARPA and other US government agencies.
